I have not been to these apartments and can only tell you that Thomson advertise them, by what they show you and tell you, they do look very nice, perhaps you could check them out on their website http://www.thomson.co.uk We stayed in Malia which joins Stalis a couple of years ago and Stalis is a really lovely place, plenty to do and as I said joins onto Malia which is a very lively resort, sorry I can't help anymore.

Yes Mirage, I know they are available via Thomson, I booked them last night To cut a long story short, we had a previously booked holiday in Spain with Thomson but decided we wanted to go to Crete instead so had to pick from the selection that Thomson offer, which was quite tricky as most of Thomson accommodation is of the complexy type with a pool and a pool bar whereas we prefer small, typically Greek accomodation near to a beach. The only accom that suited us was Cricket Villa - only 9 apartments and no pool or pool bar - so we changed our holiday and will now be staying there.
If anyone can tell me where Cricket Villa is in Stalis I'd be grateful, no map reference is given for this accom on the website or in the brochure, thanks.

hello again, try http://www.stalis.info that seems to be the tourist board for Stalis, they have an e-mail address on there, why not e-mail them and ask, perhaps they'll know.

Cricket villa right next to the cactus beach hotel in the heart of the resort about 5 mins walk down a little lane to the beach, always quiet there. Walked past them hundereds of times on our short cut up to the main road, they look very pretty and clean from the outside.In front of them is the restaurant I think it's called anatolis but you won't suffer noise from there.Walk down the little lane to the beach road turn right and you head towards Malia approx 25 mins walk.Turn left and you head into the heart of Stalis with all it's bars eatieries etc.Also right on your doorstep is the beachcomber one of the most popular places to sit and enjoy live music most nights and the staff are all top notch.If there's anything else I can help with just ask and I'll try to help am practically a local the amount of times I've been.Roll on June.
