Scheduled airlines are often as bad, I have flown from Germany to the Uk approx every three months over the last seven years with a variety of carriers, Easyjet, Ryanair, Lufthansa and BA and rarely have the flights left on time. The last flight with Easyjet I had a three hour delay.

I've flown with Monarch twice (outbound/inbound) and FCA several times. My only significant delay was with Monarch.............five hours inbound Arrecife/Gatwick.

Many of the FCA flights I've been on have departed slightly early, only very rarely, late.
