Kallithea lies between Rhodes Town and Faliraki and is fairly spread out along the coastline. Some areas will have more happening than others hence the differing reports but generally it's a fairly quiet resort.
If you're looking for more activity it's only a short taxi ride to Rhodes Town or Faliraki.

Where you are staying there are a couple of mini markets a few shops and a silver shop, the beach is only approx 5mins from your Hotel, there is a short cut at the back of the hotel near the pool, theres also a few bars and other hotels very quiet but as ive said in my other post Rhodes town is quite near for plenty of night life and things to do.
