Hi
We've booked up to go to Australia in October and are staying in Hong Kong for 2 nights.
We're struggling to get a hotel that we like the look of and we've tried asiarooms website who haven't been very helpful.
Does anyone have any good hotel websites for Hong Kong?
Many thanks.
accommodation search tool is pretty good. It lets you choose a location and a range of hotel facilities and then brings up a list of possibilities.
But if you are looking for a particular location and have a specific budget or requirements, why not ask if anyone here has any personal recommendations? I've been to Hong Kong 4 times and the last 2 times have stayed at the Kowloon Shangri-La, which I can't reccommend highly enough. It's not cheap, but the service, location and harbour view rooms are excellent.

I can recommend the Excelsior- although it was 4 years ago we went. Great location. We are going to the Metropark in April so hopefully I wll be able to give a thumbs up for that one! With the Metropark I found that booking directly through them was the cheaper than through any site I found.
I went to Hong Kong a couple of years ago and stayed in the Grand Stanford, which was absolutely gorgeous and brilliant service.
Here are some websites we used and have used:-
http://www.asiarooms.com/
http://directrooms-china.com/
http://www.hotelclub.net/
http://www.precisionreservations.com/
We just check around all of them and find the hotel we like. We stay at the Stanford Hillview Hotel, Kowloon. It is a 3 star hotel right in the middle of where we want to be. We have stayed on Hong Kong Island but prefer to be in Kowloon.
