Hi,
can any one tell me is perfume and make up cheaper in the UK airport or Malaga airport or in resort?? I know it will only be a few pounds cheaper than the UK but wasn't sure if resort of airport would be cheaper
Thanks in advance for your help
Gill
To be honest with you, with shops here like Semi Chem, Asda, and The Perfume Shop etc, I do not think that its any cheaper to buy abroad now. I have not broughht perfumes back from holidays for ages now as they are so cheap at home if you shop around.
Ditto, I go to Savers - cheaper than supermarkets and that's saying something
Cigs, perfume etc are normally dearer at the airport if you shop in the right places.
Thanks for the replies. I just find that perfumes like Channel and make-up by say Clinique you cant get in the perfume shops and the likes of Asda etc etc I know the airport is only a few pounds cheaper than the likes of Boots, House of Fraser etc etc but will have a look round in the resorts and see what I come up with.
Thanks again for your help and advice
Gill x
I buy my clarins face cream at Stansted when we go to malaga - if i can get it in a travel pack it is cheaper than buying the same pack at malaga airport.
If you intend going to gibralter i think you will find them cheaper there, or so my wife tells me.
I returned from Malaga a couple of weeks ago.I found some of the resort shops were cheaper for some perfumes.I like Malaga airport for the small sample boxes of different perfumes.A lot more varieties than available in UK.I also like to try some of the perfumes by Spanish designers. You get something different that you won't be smeling on everyone else!
