depends what you are looking for Louise. Busy? Hideaway?You could always do a combination. Many people opt to spend few days in Ubud - away from the beaches and full of craft shops. We didn't stay there but thought we might if/when we return. Looks an interesting place. We stayed in Sanur- great place but may be too quiet for you.There are loads of restauants and a good selection of bars but no clubs. Bali is a beautiful place. Thanks Fiona. Sounds like Sanur will be our base throughout our stay. Just really after somewhere with a good beach, and bit of life so we can get out and about and enjoy the Island.
