We are just back last Friday from PDLA, and I have to say that those time share touts are getting really crafty!!!

Where they used to produce a scratchcard and go through the whole speil that you'd won a prize, they seem to have realised that everyone has cottoned on to this!

Every day we walked along the seafront from the Parque Santiago III, one day to Los Cristainos, the other to PDLA.

There is a "keep fit" centre, which has "step classes" etc, and there were these guys sitting on the wall at the seafront. They were "pretending" to be PRs, and when they held out their leaflet, if you actually took it off them, they didnt let go, but just started on their spiel.............basically that they had a wonderful discoount to offer..............but of course it IS timeshare!!!!

All you experienced people might be rolling your eyes and saying "yeh we know that" but there are many people who havent been before and might fall for this!

When we smiled and said "no thanks" and let go of the leaflet and walked off they shouted after us "Is it because we are German you wont speak to us" and stupid comments like that! On a few occasions they were actually quite abusive. They tried it every time we passed, must have forgotten that theyd done it before!

If you are walking along that route on holiday and see em just ignore them...........unless you want to buy a timeshare!
