looks like they have re-catergorized by geographical locations if you click on the photo it takes you into an album of photo's about that place.....hmmmmmm What if we just wanted to look at Beaches, Food, or beach shacks! Is there any reasoning behind it Fiona?

I think Allmen has spent a considerable amount of time sorting the photos into locations. I think this is easier to view - we do have so many photos now!

Regarding pictures in the upload album.

When pictures are uploaded to the album by members they need to have details of where they were taken, as much information so that they can be properly sorted into the correct destination albums.

For instance just puting a picture in the upload album with the number that was in the digital camera and nothing else is of no use what so ever, Another is just to put the name of the hotel without the resort is no use as the hotel name could be used in several resorts. I have tried iin the past to find places by using search engines but it seems that even ones I do find are sometimes not accurate. If there is not enough information in either the caption or description of the picture then it is impossible for me to sort into the correct album. If anyone is posting pictures in the future it may be an idea to put the details of the resort in the caption and then the decription of the picture in the decription section. If there are enough pictures of a particular resort or complex we do try to give it an album of its own.
As the season progresses there will be more and more pictures and I can not possibly try to find where those that do not have the information mentioned above are from.

I would like to point out that pictures can only be loaded into the upload album and not into individual albums so MCB

I was looking at the Goa photo album on Saturday and actually uploaded one of my pictures. Yesterday there were 100+ photos but today only 14 and worst of all mines disapeared. Does anyome know what's happened

your picture could not have been uploaded directly into the Goa album as Fritz says

and yes they are vetted to make sure that there are no pictures of a dubious nature.

Hi, I posted some Ganesh pics...he and Yeshi organized a 50th birthday party for my friend and it was a fantastic nite. He's doing well, dead busy but still finds time for everyone.
