It is possible and it will cost you about £100. I have done it with other countries and I think it is the same for Turkey.

Get a limited power of attorney document in Turkish sent over to you by email, take it to your local notary in the UK with your passport, sign it and get him to notarise it. He will then send it to be apostillied (sp) by the commonwealth office and it will be returned to you in about 10 days.

Then have it Fed Ex'd to Turkey.

That should work, it's not really quick but if you really don't want to travel out there that is the way.
