We are selling a piece of Land in Turkey to a Turkish buyer, all fairly straight forward.
Only thing is I am trying to avoid having to travel to Turkey to do all the Paperwork. Is there any way I can grant Power of Attorney to my Selling Agents via a Lawyer in the UK?
All advice gratefully received
Cheers
Jordy
Get a limited power of attorney document in Turkish sent over to you by email, take it to your local notary in the UK with your passport, sign it and get him to notarise it. He will then send it to be apostillied (sp) by the commonwealth office and it will be returned to you in about 10 days.
Then have it Fed Ex'd to Turkey.
That should work, it's not really quick but if you really don't want to travel out there that is the way.

Not that I'd mind a trip to Turkey, but no Holiday time available right now,
Thanks again
Jordy
