Hi, We are off to Sharm for the first time ever, in two weeks so will be there at the very end of March. Over the past few years we have been to various parts of the Caribbean and always find the evenings very, very warm. A strappy light dress is as much as you can wear, and my husband fries in anything more than very light slacks. I have been told that the evenings are cool. What sort of clothes would be appropriate to take? Is it cold enough for sweatshirts, trousers and socks etc or just a light cardi or jacket? As there are 4 of us this info would be really helpful because of the amount of 'just in case' clothes I won't need to take if I know. We normally survive on flipflops of varying sorts and, after taking socks and shoes two years running and never wearing any I just haven't bothered packing any for our last few hols. don't want to huddle in the one warm outfit we take if we need several! Also, are nice jeans acceptable in the hotel restaurants? We are staying AI and won't really be going out much.
