I have not got a clue what the club was called but it was on the front on the right hand corner of the road where the white horse is.

Well of to this hotel tomorrow Bit worried because there has been a lot of bad reports come in for the end of March this year. I am going with an open mind with the idea I AM GOING TO ENJOY MYSELF and it was very cheap and my main holiday is to eygpt in July 8) . I will give an honest report when I get back.
Ps has anyone been here and can they tell me how near the other Htop hotels are to this hotel

Just returned from Oympic posted a reveiw.
General I had a good time. It was very busy in Calella due to football tourment. Hotel was friendly. Weather Great. And plenty of pubs and clubs in surronding area.

Thanks for that, I'd already checked it but have just checked again and it doesn't mention too much about whats in the room. Thanks anyway.

In all the hotels i have stayed in along the costa brava, never had a kettle in the room . Think they are only provided when you stay S/C . I would take your own and be prepared.

We are staying in this hotel in May, please post the reply to your question about the kettles on your return as I was wondering this as well. Hope you have a lovely holiday! Also hope the hotel is not as bad as some people have made it out to be for you sake as well as mine!!!!! Also if you know the answer to my question about when the markets are on would be appreciated.

And here's me thinking I was gonna get a yes or no.........lol

When I know I'll let you know. We are thinking of taking ours anyway because i've read that its machine coffee and we are really fussy about the coffee that we drink so if it's horrible in the machine would prefer to make my own in my room.

As for the markets, I will see what I can find out. We are there from thursday night and fly home on monday night.

I too have read the good and bad reports, even the one that says that the food is terrible and that it was too Spanish. What do people expect in Spain? lol I really am going with an open mind. As long as my bedding is clean then we will manage. We've paid a pittance for our all inc stay there so don't really expect too much.

Hope you have a great time and I'll let you know what I can when I get back.

hi,
we have stayed in the olympic twice and there are no kettles available in the rooms you get tea at breakfast time and you can also obtain tea and coffee from the bar during the day what might interest you is you can book the bus up to go to malgrat, santa susanna, loret you can take your dinner card with you and have your dinner in any of the h top hotels have a look round and the bus will pick you back up later.

Bobby, as said, no kettles in the rooms.

As for markets. We didn't see or hear of much, but most of the area was closed, due to it being out of season.

We heard that at the bottom of Calella old town they had a market on saturday but it was just fruit and veg.

A couple that we met went on a coach trip to a market (somewhere beginning with T) on sunday. We didn't see them after that so not sure if it was good or bad.

Sorry I can't be of any further use to you but like I said 90% of Calella was shut, with not much to do.
