Have phoned them a few times in the past however all the prices they quote on their website mysteriously never seem to be available and they always end up offering a higher priced holiday. I believe they are part of the same company as icelolly.com and if you do a search on this site there are quite a few comments which echo my own experience. Hope this is of some help.

Yes one and the same, used to eat a lot at the Sera Beach Restaurant last year and on the day we were leaving was handed a small brochure about the Mehtap Hotel and a contact telephone number and e mail address for Sunnsea holidays, looks quite promising. Any info would be appreciated.

Not sure how much you know about the Ozturk family? So please bare with me if i say some things you know already!
Ihsan, is the owner of sera beach restaurant and also owns club sera aparts although he is now selling them.
18 months ago he bought the Mehtap Hotel which is situated on the beach behind the bigger Macdonalds towards the centre, and left Denny in charge (well sort of) of sera beach.

I have known Ihsan for 6 years and stayed in the mehtap last october, it is very clean and great location. 2 good restauants on site also.

If you are thinking about staying at the mehtap then Thomas cook are the only operaters that book there, however when i went i got my own flights and paid ihsan over there for my room.

2 weeks flying from Glasgow, but I was a bit reluctant because I didn't know very much about them. You mention Denny being in charge of the Sera Beach Restaurant, I know the name but can't think of the face. Is he the one that is married to the girl from Dundee? Thanks again.

Denny is the Georgie guy that stands out the front and chats to one and all, he also used to do a tina turner show!!!!! (not sure if he still does)Denny tells everyone its is his place but to be honest i am not so sure

When Ihsan the bought the mehtap he spent a lot of money doing the place up as it was a bit of a mess and most of the top waiters and chefs moved from sera beach to the mehtap, Paul is the top waiter and always looks out for you.
You can look on http://www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk to get other peoples views that have stayed there i think they are all good bar one old couple that most have got out the bed the wrong side

Did Sunnsea quote you for the whole package, or are you getting your own flights, it may be worthwhile asking them how much it would cost to have the room for 2 weeks and return transfers, then search on http://www.a1travel.com for flights on days of yoiur choice and see which works out cheapest.

Thanks once again Craigy. I know who Denny is now, he did say the Sera Beach was his restaurant, but like you I wasn't so sure. If the staff at the Mehatap are anything like the staff at the Sera Beach, then it sounds like a winner to me. Sunnsea quoted me £453 per person based on 4 people travelling, bed and breakfast, inclusive of fuel supplements, transfers, inflight meals etc. I thought that was excellent considering it was August I was looking at, also they did say the price may come down further, not many would tell you that.

I have looked at the reviews on this site and holidays uncovered and liked what I saw, apart from the old couples review (can't please everyone I suppose). I will look at the review by Pinkladywales.
