We walked through this hotel recently, on a very short trip to Hurghada. The hotel looked very nice and had a nice beach. It is also situated right in the middle of all the main shops etc. However, personally we hated Hurghada and couldn't get back to El Gouna fast enough. You get constant hassle from shop keepers and unfortunately we found nothing we liked about it. However, plenty of people enjoy their holidays there, but perhaps they are a bit futher out. Not sure what you are looking for on holiday, but if you prefer somewhere quiet and more up market, why not check out El Gouna - Sheraton Miramar and Movenpick are both highly recommended by most people that stay there, judging by the reviews I've read on http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk.
