Well w've done it........after much huming and aring we have booked our first hol to Goa

Eljhem you are gonna love goa and you should know now you will want to go again and again 
bring plenty of cash if your wife sees all the posts on jewellery she will be wanting something nice for her special anniversary ...bling bling
Great stuff, I looked at the Cavala when we were in Baga in December and it is such a lovely little hotel , very charming and in a great spot for restaurants, beach , shops etc..

Goa is fabulous! We have booked again for next February but we also hope to go in November if we get a bargain. Got some European hols planned meantime, that should keep us going
