I always put mine in my suitcase - never had a problem. Must say though that I do tend to put them all in a plastic bag before putting them in the case.

Hi All

Aerosols always have to be packed in suitcases - if packed in handluggage there is a chance they will explode because of the cabin pressure. On our way home from Tenerife in the New Year the man sitting next to me had a large bag of crisps in a bag that was on the floor between his feet. Not long after take of there was an almighty bang which made a few passengers jump (me included). It was the mans crisps, the bag had swollen so much due to the cabin pressure that it exploded.

I have always carried my Aerosols in my hand luggage and taken it in the cabin with me, and I have been doing this for the past fifteen years or so, and I've never had a problem. Surely, if aerosols were not allowed into the cabin then they would be confiscated when you pass through airport security?

I do however, wrap the aerosols in toilet paper first, and then in a plastic bag. I have never had any probelms in all the time I have been doing this.
