Hi Kelly, unfortunately Falaraki will be like that because thats what it is, but do you have to go there, why not try one of the other resorts on Rhodes it's a really lovely Island with much more to offer than what you don't want to experience.

Hi,

Take a look at Pefkos, quiet resort but with some great bars that stay open until the early hours. If you must, then catch the bus to Falaraki enjoy your evening and take a cab home (cab should cost about 40 euro each way), thats why I suggested the local bus there.

We went there as a large group, with our daughter, and they enjoyed the night life (late teens).

Hope this helps.

Faliraki has calmed down alot since the TV hype and you'll find it a much quieter place especially in May.
Can't recommend any particular apartments but if you're looking for a good beach and somewhere that v much caters to the english tourist then Faliraki is for you.
As others on here it woldn't be my choice of resort (i prefer Lindos) but it's not the 18-30s hell hole that it used to be.

Hello, we're staying in Kalithea in June for a week which is a ten minute ride to Falaraki and ten minute ride to Rhodes, it's got a few tavernas and restaurants but with Falaraki and Rhodes town being so close, perhaps you should consider Kalithea.
