cardiff lad,not sure where you're staying(above the Chinese in Pernera springs to mind??) but have you been to Zafeiros Kiosk on the coast path from Pernera to Protaras? If you haven't and you are heading to Protaras for the day then it's worth going here for breakfast. It's a couple of years since we've been here(been B/B and H/B the past 2 years) but we used to go there regularly when we were S/C at Fig Tree Gardens Apts next to Tsokkos Gardens. The food was always excellent and good value and the location/view made it even better. The pub across from the Tsokkos Gardens also do great breakfasts(can't remember its name). It was on the road heading down towards the Marlita Beach.

A couple of years back we found The Love Boat to do good breakfasts - even the continental was big - meats, cheese , toast and 2 boiled eggs - certainly set you up for the day.

Last year we found our apartments done a great breakfast - The Andreotis - Even if you are not staying at the apartments they will not ,turn away custom. Oaula and Tassos run the bar/kitchen.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner - you will not starve in Cyprus.

a good breakfast in Cyprus would be natural yoghurt with honey (maybe nuts) on...which is shockingly good...

I love natural yoghurt but don't like sweet things.. but the honey just works so well on there...

so against sweet stuff, that I didn't have honey on my breakfast at all while in Cyprus.. but a week or so after returning my brother was having it and said I really must try it... which I did... started kicking myself...

Marks & Spencers do a lovely greek youghurt with cherries in a sauce, or a apricot & almond mix.
