hi elizabeth the nizmar hotel in calangute is very handy to everything ......its b&b and the food is magic ....the pool is very good ....and it has a tailor....a jeweller....a hairdresser......little shops....taxi out side the door .....everthing you need.....10 mts walk to the beach ......overall a good hotel hope this helps you

hiya elizabeth i would say the ( c,s,m) colonia santa maria hotel is very central to evreything but far away from the hustle and bustle to be nice and quiet, the hotel is next to the beach and is a lovely peacefull hotel for all maggieomx

Have a look at the Goan Heritage, it's right on the beach at the Candolim end of Calangute, loads of resturants nearby and it deals almost solely with the independant traveller, as your dates are just pre mosoon their prices for that time may reflect this Alan

I really like the Phoenix Park Inn hotel in Candolim. It was clean and comfortable. If I were to go back I'd stay there again just because quite a number of the people I met out there were dissapointed with their accommodation.

we are going in november and I like a high floor with a pool view I have read on here that not all the rooms have balconies ....
I like nothing more than a wee drink on the balcony before I go out to dinner .....so i would miss that big time

Get me the room next door to yours then irishcolleen I like to sit on the balcony also with a small cooking sherry whilst I get ready
