I can't remember how much it cost, but me and my son really enjoyed it.

We went on a off road safari that went up in the mountains and stopped for lunch. The guide spoke excellent english and made us laugh all day.

I would really recommend it, make sure you book the safari that you want to go on. One does the stops at the monestry and the other just takes you to the village's, both trips are great.

Long days and very bumpy. Great fun

Oh forgot to mention, we went swimming in a lovely oasis type plae up in the mountains........ freezing cold and frogs and tiny water snakes swimming with you. So don't forget swimwear.

You just have to do the half-day jeep safari to Famagusta!

Son and hubby did the jeep trip ti the mountains and Monastery yesterday and had a great day. They went to a market where there was a vast variety of drinks to sample. They didn't try any but the lady from the Yorkshire family (who were hilarious) did and got rather tipsy!!!

I did the Troodos mountain safari from Pernera (just down the road from Protaras but the actual booking office is in Paralimni, but an outlet in Pernera books for them)...

well worth every penny (euro) we paid... and I will be doing it again should I find myself back in Cyprus..
