Some food for thought, I know this is an ongoing subject on here.

Well said del949 as I've said here before, how many of the people that write in here in praise of hiring scooters and motor bikes have got good enough comprehensive insurance to meet the cost of the medi-vac flight home which could cost upwards of £50,000 never mind the compensation when they injure others? They usually do'nt come back with any convincing answer other than the room boys insurance will cover them and if they believe that they obviously do'nt know India very well. I,m not including Robb from C.W.T. or other ex pats in this as they will have covered themselves, but just the ordinary holidaymakers that think it's cool to act differently than they would do at home, at least I hope they do'nt drive without insurance in the U.K. Alan
reading the court files in the local paper where I live, (Bradford), apparently most of them DO drive without licence and insurance!!!!
