Hotel Mar Amantis in San Antonio Bay

Me and my family and two more families, are booked into hotel Maramantis for august this year. Can anyone give me any feed back.
I stayed there about 4 years ago, very clean, very helpful staff (had a problem with flights and they went out their way to help us letting us use their phone and fax)
I cant remember too much about the hotel its self, I think it has had a bit of a referb since. Pool area nice, with plenty of loungers. We weren't happy with the food, went down a couple of days to eat but it seemed to be more German food. When we were there we found the hotel was predominately German people there.

hi, as you all seem to know a lot about Ibiza, i was wondering if anyone can give me any info on Hotel Maramantis in San Antonio Bay, as me , my family and some of our friends are flying out on 2nd August. Read hotel reviews but to be honest it was a bit of a mixed bag. Hope you can help.

I am also going in June to the Mar Amantis for a week. Reports on the hotel last year seem better than the year before. Shall leave comment here when I return.

Hi, im also staying at the mar amantis on 27th July for a week, read a few reviews some good some not so good, hope its ok!
i hope you've booked the mar amantis that is on the sea shore. the other is across the road a little further inland.
distance to the sand is about 50 metres to the left in front of the s'estanyol or 100 metres to the right in front of the nautilus.
you could always catch the water taxi from the little jetty and visit some really nice beaches at cala conta and cala bassa

the other is across the road a little further inland.
its only the opposite side of the road not really further inland?!?!
I have requested the Mar Amantis 1, but I shall not know which hotel I am getting until I arrive. Sounds as if they are close to each other. I think I read that the meals are served in the Amantis 1 for both hotels

yes thats correct. The pool at the Mar amanitis2 is better than the first one.
Me and my boyfriend are also going to the Mar Amantis 2 for 11 nights at the end of June. I'm going with an open mind, as I've read good reports and bad reports, although I know a lot of people who give bad reports usually expect something for nothing. I'm really excited now and just want to get this month over with so I can fly off to sunny Ibiza. I will leave a review when I get back, for all those of you who are also going after me.

i have read that the all inclusive stops at 9pm at the mar amantis, san antonio bay could anyone that has been there recently confirm this as it seems very early to stop.

well i have literally just got back from the airport a minute ago after 2 weeks at the mar amantis hotel, whatever you have been told is wrong, it finishes at 11 o clock and starts at 8ish, thats drinks all day, the 3 set meals and snacks. i have just had an amazing 2 weeks there you will love it
