Just returned from Tenerife and can confirm that the time/temp clock in the square outside the Reveron is no more. The whole square is being dug up at the moment and it has been removed as part of the work being carried out. Hopefully it will be replaced when the work is completed. In fact, Los Cristianos is undergoing a lot of work at the moment with a least half a dozen sites that I noticed where the the walkways are being dug-up. Presumably, this is part of the face-lift that was announced sometime ago for the town.
