May 1998 San An Bay
May 2003 Playa Den Bossa
Sept 2005 Cala Llonga
1 weeks time 1st May Playa Den Bossa again!
I wonder if its more to do with the time of year that we go?
As for cockroaches I have no idea! I have only ever seen one whilst on holiday and I'm not sure if it was a cockroach cus it had wings and flew onto our balcony! I flicked it off and within 2 seconds about 10 birds flew after it and one ate it!
Went in Sept once and there were a few so i guess they're end season problem more. Plugged in one of those Mozzie adaptor things anyway last year in May but quite honestly had no need!
That was in Es Cana by the way.
Got back from Playa den bossa 21st may 2006 after a week there and have several bites all over my body,I expected the wife to suffer but she wasnt bitten at all,I actually swatted a good few and in addition to mossies i also seen a number of cockroaches and the most humungous dragon fly i have ever seen, the infestations probably had a lot to do with the terrible humidity, because despite temps as high as 34 while in ibiza town it didnt burn as it wasnt that type of heat, instead i was sweating profusely throughout my stay, and could not wait to get back to blighty,so perhaps after a good thunderstorm the humidity and the mossies might well dissapear,so please do yourselves a favourite and get a repellent pronto.
Well i just returned on may 15th and none of us saw any mozzies whatsoever! We were in PDB, we saw a couple big dragon flys and no cockroaches. As in my previous post I have never seen a mozzie in Ibiza, I dont even bother with sprays and plugs now.
well... i returned home on the 27th may... and i think i left some very fat mozzies behind, as they had a real feast on me... my left arm became so infected, i had to go to the pharmacie for treatment, they did say it was a very bad bite
We did have one day of cloud (and it was cold) and one day of torrential rain...but no mossies!!!
hi just returned today from fiesta milord seen 1 cockroach and no mossies.
