We are off to Venice a week on Friday followed by Rome and Sorrento (between Sorrento and Positano) for about 2 weeks in total . It's our first time in Italy and our Honeymoon . I wondered if you can recommend 'must-see/do' things, obviously we want to have a great time but we are on a budget so maybe some of you can recommend places to eat/visit that don't cost a fortune - and on the flip side of that are there any places we should avoid?
Your advice is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Blu
We're going to Venice in Sept so I would also love to hear about good, cheap places to eat and visits and any places to avoid. Hopefully you'll be able to give me some advice when you get back, Blu.
I'll certainly give it a go. Hopefully we'll get some replies to this post though which can help us both. Hope you have a lovely time anyway
In the hills behind Sorrento there are lovely walks. Ferries from Sorrento to Capri are frequent and cheap, and excellent rail links to Pompeii etc. The local taxis are very expensive.
Hope you have a wonderful wedding and honetmoon.
