staying there in july from the 11th to 25th and cant find much info about the place, except the few ive found around the net and all give it the thumbs up. anybody been? any tips? im taking the girlfiend and my 2 kids, girl 7 and boy 3, and looking for advice.
ive done the internet thing and know that lots of bars welcome familes and we will go to different places most nights. we are going s/c, as last time i went 1/2 board, the kids wouldnt eat the food, but it wasnt in spain. at least this way we can pick and choose. anybody give tips on family bars and good eating places?
any advice for us first-timers would be helpfull. looking forward to our holiday this year...maybe we will bee back soon.
I am going to Benidorm on the 23rd May with my family and staying fairly near the Buanavista Apartments so I will note which places are child friendly as although I know Benidorm fairly well, I have only stayed at that end without the kids so haven't really noted the best places to go with children.
There is a fabulous Hotel near where you are staying called the Flamingo Oasis which although is All Inclusive welcomes paying customers. The prices are reasonable and there is entertainment on every evening so don't be afraid to call in.
I don't know if you like Chinese restaurants but the Mandarin which is facing the Oasis was highly recommended to us by an ex pat. As I was only there for a few days A/I, I did not try it myself but might do next time.
I will post back to you on my return with some ideas for you.

Plus points: very big lounge and balcony, all kitchen equipment supplied, indoor swimming pool.
Minus points: Levante Club Hotel next door blocks the sunlight out a bit, grass round outdoor pool is a bit scrubby, wasn't much nightlife in the area at the time but plenty bars now open on the main road about 100 yards away, bit of a trek from the beach and main nightlife areas but some people (including myself) count that as a positive.
I can also recommend the Mandarin as we stayed nearbye last year. We went there and had a mrvellous meal, even my son tried some (really picky eater). The White horse is a good bar with family entertainment. If you head down the street towards Burger king, its up a side street on the left, you can't miss the big White horse sign.
I'm sure you'll have fun as there is always something to do for all ages.
I can recommend the aqua park, it has an excellent childrens play area.
Cazz, Mick n Tom.
If anyone has stayed in the Buenavista Apts recently, we would welcome your opinions across on our review page .....
thanks for all the replys my missus like chinese so maybe give it a go. once again thanks
Thinking of booking these apartments for when we go in June/July.
Just wondered if anyone had stayed in them recently and if so what they thought of them. They are up by the Flamingo Oasis in the Rincon.
Any info much appreciated.

Stayed here 2 years ago nice big balconys. Theres 3 pools 2 outside 1 indoor all freezing lol, mimi golf course and some swings. Did have karaoke most night when we where there but did get the parrot show on. Food in the bar was nice and Bottle and jug over road from lavente next to apartments lovely food. Would stop there again if me legs wernt so bad now need to be more central now. Theres also a gym downstaris which i no you will want to go on Have fun
the apartments were very clean, and the balcony was nice, although you may get a view facing the hospital.
It's a bit out of the way, but there's a bus route and taxi rank on the main road at the top of the street.
As is Racheals bar, very good value, and a suntrap. there's a cluster of bars around it.
If you walk down the hill, there's a shortcut to the market along a path. Recomended in the daylight!
Benidorm palace and the waterpark/mundomar are a stroll away.
have a good time
Stayed in the Buena Vista a few years ago and found them to be very good, clean and spacious. The bar area has some entertainment which consisted of Karaoke when we were there which was dire, also the bar was expensive for Benidorm, On the plus side the small shop selling all the basics was quite good value and saved carrying water from the large supermarkets. There is a supermarket similar to Lidl/Aldi quite near to the apartments which will be worth a visit to stock up on essentials. Lots of development in the area since I stayed there and now you are spoilt for choice re bars etc. Try the China Garden opposite the Melia hotel for an excellent meal with very friendly service.
we are trying to book a short trip to the above apartments for new year and cannot find either a package holiday or to be able to book this apartments on their own, can anybody help me?
I know that I can get a flight with easyjet from London when their winter timetable comes out, but cant find anywhere to book these apartments. we have some friends that have booked these apartments from Glasgow and we would like to join them for 4 or 5 nights over new year. we would even look at some apartments nearby
many thanks in advance
Bernie
