Hi. We stayed at the Angelo june/July 2005. The rooms are spotless, cleaned every day. No privacy on the balconies though. We were on the ground floor by the pool but you could have a pretty high climb if you are on the top.
The pool is quite small and is rough underfoot, also it is in the shade quite a lot but there is the most brilliant huge gardens to sit in with no shortage of sunbeds. Good pool bar selling food and the waiters work very hard taking your orders and keeping the garden clean.
I must say that we found the pool bar very noisy at night and it didnt go quiet until about one o clock. Much later on the Greek night so if you like early nights please dont expect any. Having said that we have no children so it didnt inconvenience us too much.
There is also a large screen satellite tele by the pool which is on every evening until about midnight which is ok for any sports fans.

Whatever you do dont go out and forget to hand in your key at reception as you will get The Note pushed under your door telling you that you MUST leave the key. Dont know how they keep an eye on everyone but they seem to do a good job, they never miss if you do happen to forget.
Having said that we did have a good holiday there but I must say that we wouldnt stay there again but we just prefer the islands.

Hanioti square comes to life at night with many bars all around and all the locals come out to play. We also never had a bad meal all the time we were there. We particularly liked the taverna just at the end of the road from the Angelo and also The Old Tavern which did a good mix of Greek and English food.
