I stayed at that property in October last year, ok but could be a bit noisy at night by the pool bar when the music is on to keep punters happy. I was in a studio right next to it and had to be moved to a quieter room.
Good sized pool and clean accomodation, couple of minutes walk will take you in to Platanes main street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are.
Not sure about hiring quad bikes in the area, can't say I seen anything advertised and don't recall ever seeing anything about it when I worked out there a few years back either.
