Just priced our holiday up at over £200 cheaper!! Not too long ago it was nearly £500 more. What is going on with this place??

hello everybody, we are new to this site - Rob, Mel, George (age 6) and Ben (age 3). We booked yesterday to go for a fortnight on 21 June, we read that the hotel is behind schedule but the travel agent was virtually giving the holiday away - we reckon that you lot are driving the prices down.

so what is the latest opening date and how likely is it ?

Hi robmelgeorgeben, Theres us all trying to jump ship and you have climbed aboard lol. No seriously we have been told 24th may which has stood now for a month with no change, im feeling positive this week and feel that it will open on time although im a little worried that everything wont be 100% as it should be and that there will be teething problems, I go 14th June so 3 weeks after it opens, but its not a case of im alright jack, I am concerned for the 24thrs and 31sters who have become good friends on this forum, we all stand as one with regards to KABC.

There are some pics you can view which were taken 19th april (I think) to view them go onto photo gallery at top of forum, click on page no 5 then Kos, you should see the photos (5 of them) that were taken by a gentleman who lives in Kos (sp55).

It seems the general vibe now is one of positivity, which is good! After having such a bad weekend last week and start to this week about this, I am glad it is ending on such a confident and positive note. I'm really looking forward to going now.

What a pity we leave the week before you arrive and I have two boys of similar age to you as well! Kieran (7 in two weeks) and Aidan (4) and also the baby Aaron who will be just 6mths when we go!

Well we are all now keeping our fingers crossed now but glad that the general vibe is a bit more positive because to be honest don't think I could cope much more - the stress is killing me!!LOL

Anyway looking forward to chatting!

Message to TheCookies.... Why are you thinking of changing your holiday? You sound like you don't want to and won't get the same facilities elsewhere. You have just under 3 months yet before you go! Surely everything will be finished by then!!

My view is that they wouldn't be taking bookings if it wasn't a definite for 24 May and there may be some minor cosmetic work to be done but the place will be structurally completed.

I'm sure that we all have a great time, has anybody that is going on 24 May agreed to post a report when they get there ? (sorry I couldn't face reading 66 pages)

I know its easy for me to say as we don't go until September 13th but I think all you May 24thers would have heard by now if it wasn't going to be open.

I spoke with Eclipse yesterday when I was booking next years hoilday and thought I'd ask a few questions about Kos Aqua Beach while I actually had someone on the line.
The answer I got ?

I know I'm not going to Kos ABC any more but my tickets for my alternative holiday arrivd today so I am so so so excited now! To the 24th-ers this means yours will be with you within a few days. How exciting!
All looking really good for 24th as nothing seems to be changing after all the initial issues so hope Matt is practicing hard! I expect to hear what he was like on this Forum when you get back!
