The joys of travelling with teenage girls!
Hi thanks for the link, which one is it we get from the list it gives please. Did you have to stretch them?
We got the adapter duo with the orientation light, it's £5.99, about the third or fourth on the list. We didnt have to stretch it at all where we were!
whenever i have been anywhere i have always had to stretch open my plug a little to fit. never had any problems with it working at all. i found if you put one side half in and then stretch it over to the other side it goes in o.k. i don't think its a major problem to stretch them.
Laat year we used a Southern European adapter
Im going to egypt next week and am just wondering what sort of adapter i will need for electrical things? is it just a european one or a far east one? also could the females tell me if their hair dryers and straightners work just as well... i know that in america my hair dryer was pathetic because of the diff wattage... thanks for the help,
Amanda xxx
Had my teenage daughters with us and no probs with european plugs, also straighteners and dryers worked fine!
can anyone tell me which type of adapter I need for Egypt
Hi, it's the two round pin plugs you need for Egypt. We went there last year and this is what we used and they worked fine
have asked loads of people this and no one can remember. can someone tell me what plug sockets they have in sharm? is it the thin flat ones like in usa, or the eurpoean ones that have two round thick prongs? thanks
When i go to Egypt i was wondering what the plug sockets are like are they that of the Uk? It's just want to take digital camera, and will want to take battery charger!
Thanks.
you'll need an adapter. We bought a universal one from Argos, does everywhere in the world and all fits together. Its a two prong socket for Egypt.
Nice one thank you. Last thing i want to happen is run out of batteries for camera on holiday
yeh we had to charge up cameras, game boys and all the rest of the electrical stuff that you just need to have on holiday - Mind you the camera is a big must to take the photos of all those fish when you go diving
I always pack one of those four way adaptor blocks which doesn't take up much room in the suitcase and lets you charge up more than one thing on your continental adaptor.
