flew into monastir airport on the 23 april at about 12 midday it tooks about 30 to 35 minuets to clear passport control which did not seem too bad at all. some people we spoke to at our hotel said it had took them 2 hours.they arrived in the evening when there were far more flights arriving. had no problem changing our money at the airport,coming in and going back out

I do hate people who gloat, but Tunis airport was lovely. 23rd April I was in a taxi on the way to the station in 30 minutes from touchdown, having cleared immigration, got the luggage, changed money and haggled with the taxi driver

Been going to Sousse for the past 5 years and never had any problems at all.
We always make sure that the Green card is filled in before we hit Passport Control . and coming home we have the second part of it ready .
Alot of the hold ups are usually people filling there Green Card in at the passport desk .....

The problem is not down to filling in emigration slips it's to do with the amount of flights coming in within a short time of each other.
I have been 3 times since November and the time has varied the longest was around 2 hours the shortest 35 mins that was a late arrival on 30th April due to plan diverting to Manchester because birds flew into the engine so we arrived 3 hours late but the que was back to the doors after we cleared emigration,all our flights were on a Sunday,I fly there again this Sunday and know that at least 5 planes land withing 40 mins of each other so expect a long que again,I have been going for 10 years and it has only been within the last 6 months that I have experienced these hold ups and always have my emigration card filled in it's already done for my next visit.

I fly out in 5 weeks time on a Sunday,09.00am from Birmingham,what time do you usually arrive when you get all these planes arriving.

We always fly from Birmingham, in November & March our flight was 16.40pm landed at approx 20.30 Tunisian time,we have the same flight time this Sunday so will landing with the Manchester.Gatwick & Doncaster planes plus the flights from Germany all with in half hour of each other so expect a long delay again, will let you know when I get back.
