Hi Alistair & Nyle,
Please don't worry about creepy crawlies. You're very unlikely to come across them.
And as for snakes, the only ones you're likely to see are property developers and perhaps the odd time-share tout.
Regards, Nigel
Me & hubby have just come back from Pathos, we were there for Easter at the Alexander the Great hotel where there were quite a few cats, including one that we named Lethal Weapon for the reason I am about to tell you. We were staying in one of the cabanas and one night a few cats, including Lethal, were following us back to our cabana when Lethal starting jumping on something, we thought it was a cockroach but on closer inspection , from hubby, NOT ME! we found it was a tarantula : Hubby not being scared of spiders felt sorry for it and got it on a piece of cardboard and took about 30 yards away to the middle of a clump of bushes, but he had no sooner got back to the cabana, than Lethal had dragged the spider back to the same place and proceeded to demolish it thank goodness, or guess who wouldn't have slept that night? God knows what the spider had done to Lethal as none of the other cats seemed interested in it. Hubby says mediterranean tarantulas are big and ugly but not dangerous but this does not mean I will go anywhere near them...EVER!!
