You have probably read it by now! The email notifications were not working for several days. I had 50 notifications of pms in my email today but all had been read by now!
If you have had no pms recently it could be the case that someone pmd you and then changed their mind and deleted it.

I know that you are having server problems, and I wonder if this is why this has happened, but I received 2 emails advising me that I had pm's, but once I was able to get in, there doesn't appear to be any new pm's for me.

Can you tell me if this is because of the server problems, also, if it is, will I get them eventually, and if not, how will I know who pm'd me and what it was about. I don't want someone to think that I am ignorong them.

It could be the case that the person sending you the PM decided to delete it before you were able to read it.
