Think Mat is thinking of cancelling and just wanted to see if any of us got any grief from FC and if they paid for an upgrade/alternative or were just giving refunds. I'd have been really really really gutted if they had just given me my moneyback. I WANT A HOLIDAY! (and I'm getting it, even if not at Kos ABC which was my First Choice).

Well its gonna be a hot day here in sunny Essex, so for the first time this year my legs are gonna be exposed lol.

Did anyone see my comment about airport hotels and parking? if not have any of you stayed in a hotel the night before your holiday? is it worth it etc? we have a 7am flight so seriously thinking of doing it this year.

Has anyone called FC recently to triple check that still on for 24th? (sorry - only joking! Know that the bloke on the Kefalonia site has had confirmation)

I've just spoken to FC to pay the balance on my wonderful holiday to be! And they confirmed that everything is on schedule for opening on the 24th. Cheeky sod's only tried to sell me car hire whilst I was there. I think they should be giving them out free for all the problems we have all encountered!!!!

I haven't called them as I don't want to be hanging on the phone for an hour or so not good for my PMT girls!

I have booked parking for £29 for the week..BCP i think. Didn't think it would be worth booking into a hotel to be honest with the two kids...we will be leaving the house by 3am...........................which makes it alll the more exciting I think......

well i came off the phone to first choice this morning because my flights from Glasgow 14th June have been changed...aint too happy cause of the flight times home even though ive booked a late room ya know what its like with kids having flights in the middle of the night...

They didnt confirm however to me that everything was ready for the 24th May all they said is it SHOULD all be completed before you arrive...after breathing deeply and counted to 10 even after quizzing them they still would not give me any futher information...

and now i am about to hyperventilate someone pleaseeeee tell me this is going to be ok hehe

Mmm, still no tickets. Mrsgaz you got yours last week and you only fly 3 days before us don't you? Think I might have to make a phone call so I might be a while.

Michelle, we always book into a hotel at Gatwick the night before and get 2 weeks parking as well. Gets the holiday started earlier - the kids love it. We've stayed at the Europa a couple of times but we're staying at the Hilton this year.
