hi
went last year and at the end of the holiday we had to get a piece of paper for airport or we would get fined if we didnt have it. i cant remember what they called it , could anyone help
thanks
It's an exit visa for want of a better name, a small piece of paper the hotel gives you when you check out. It has your name, passport details, name of hotel and dates of stay thereon.
Just make sure you get one when you leave the hotel.
Peter
Peter, why are these required ?
Thanks Baldur, I knew it was the law but did not know the purpose thanks for clearing it up.
When we went last year i asked for this document, and was told by the holiday rep that you dont need this form now.
But better check when you're there.
We got them automatically last year from the hotel receptionist, and still have them because the border guard left them in our passports somewhat unusually I thought at the time.
I agree with Basil, there's only one way - ask your holiday rep, they'll know what the current situation is.
Maybe it varies from airport to airport, after all, as the Bulgarians say with a shrug - "Eta B'lgaria!" (It's Bulgaria!)
Peter
we also were given ours automaticly within our passports on leaving last year.and like peter we still have them in our passports.
