I noticed that Going Places have brought out such a card for your holiday spending money. They do have the Visa logo on them so I would presume that it's the logo ie of Visa etc that will make the card acceptable or not.

Does your card have such a logo?

its the going places card that i am talking about, we havent collected it yet and we are planning on doing this next friday so thought i would ask in advance

I'm sure it's a Visa card so you should be ok.

If you open a Nationwide FlexAccount you can pay in what you want when you want and then when you go on holiday you can use the card as a debit card in all the usual ATM's. There are absolutely no charges for this service and we find we get a better exchange rate than with any other method.
Of course, you can also use it in restaurants and shops, etc. as it's a VISA card.
