Is this little fairground still in operation?
When we were on holiday last june only half of the rides were open and there were only two people operating the rides which meant you were queueing for ages, not good with impatient kids!
We also have a ride credit card with credits still on, would we be able to use them up this year.
It did look to me like there may be signs of it closing and that would not surprise me. It will of course be replaced with a High Rise Hotel or Apartment Complex. Afterall, they have closed the other little fairground down in Benidorm....it was such a sad site to see the remains of a kiddies ride and a ticket booth standing all alone and forlorn. They closed this and demolised it to replace it with a buiding still under construction whilst I was there, and my guess is Festilandia may soon suffer the same fate.
I know the other one you mentioned. We spent a lot of time there when Tom was smaller, he wasn't amused to find a twenty foot hole in the ground last year.
There is still a small fairground on the street that runs past the Benimar Apartments, The Victoria and The Royal Hotel in the direction of the old town. I think that the street is called Calle de Emilio Ortuno.
If you don`t blink, then the one on the Avda del Mediterraneo is on the tourist train video part 1, and that was open 3 weeks ago, but I didn`t go in.....those kind of rides are not my scene anymore
The little Park that Sanji has captured on her movie IS Festilandia.....you can just about make the sign out as the train 'whizzes' past.
