Had to hire a wheelchair for my mother a few years back after she broke an ankle in a fall. I think (from memory! 
) I hired it from one of the pharmacies located on or near Placa d'Europa.
Cant help with the price as it was, as I said a few years back.

Can you take one with you the red cross hire them out here and your local shopmobility scheme might loan one, I have had to loan one a few times for my son
