I don't know if you have been to Greece before, but it is very common to get slightly more basic accommodation than what you may have been expecting where ever you go in Greece, and I think this puts a lot of people off and they then give poor reviews

I tend to think that this is all part of the charm of going to Greece and just adds to the wonderful experience.

If you just go with an open mind and I am sure you will have a great time

Cheers Graham. I've been to Corfu twice before and Kefalonia last year and the hotel we got last year had some poor reports but I found nothing wrong with it. I suppose its a bit of wait and see. Booked up my 2007 yesterday at the Philippos so I'm looking forward to it now. Thanks for your help and advice. Its much appreciated.
