Looking at Turkey for 2007, swaying towards Turgetreis area , family of 4, 2 kids will be 11 and 8. We like things to see and do but hate english type bars/ pubs/ Macdonalds etc when on holiday. I guess what I am trying to say is we want traditional Turkey. Would like smaller resort with a short transfer time from airport. (under 90 mins)
All suggestions appreciated.

akyaka is a traditional quiet turkish resort, about 50 mins from dalaman airport, lovely beach and scenery, no british bars or clubs etc, there are boat trips too and its only 20 miles from marmaris if you want a day trip over there or icmeler, have a look at links below, we are going in july for 2 weeks

I have just returned(9/5/06) from a week in DALYAN ,i can highly recommend it, only 30 min transfer time from Dalaman airport & plenty to do...i have done a report in the resorts section in more detail..hope this helps
