We have been going to Camping la Sirene for the last three years & think it is a fantastic site. We have been going to France for the past 8 years & have finally settled in La Sirene in Argeles sur Mer. Try out the area, it's well worth a visit. Best of luck with your search.

Mol1, I have checked out that site and La Sirene is fully booked. It looks like a lovely Camp site. I have found accommodation at Bacares L'Oasis but would like a first hand review before I take the plunge.

Trying to book the busiest time of the year, 5/8/2006 for a week.

I have been on every campsite web page over the last 3 days and actually had two deposits returned due to sites being over booked.

Just booked our 3rd site so fingers crossed, its the Yelloh Serrignan Plage.

The whole area sounds amazing but if this fails we will have to look elsewhere.

Yelloh are quite good campsites we felt last year it was the campsite STAFF that let them down

Admittedly we were talking to other Camping Cheques users about where we were all moving on to and the staff got quite upset that we weren't looking at other Yelloh sites got even more upset when we said that we were using Camping Cheques not paying

We booked a mobile home just yesterday at Argeles sur Mer direct from the owner, and the site where I found him had lots of other homes too. It is at relaxinfranceonline.co.uk. I beleive the owner has only two other bookings this year, so there should be availability) We are paying just £435 for a fortnight in august, for 6 people, plus flights (the site is Del Mar, right by the beach, with pool and all the usual stuff - I tried to book through the site themsleves but they never acknowledged my emails, even the ones I tried to send in french!).
