The apartments are just south of the "Worms" roundabout if that's any help - about a 3 minute walk away from there. Don't know anyone who has stayed there, but they look okay from the outside.

Stayed once....pool was poor...no good for young kids...5ft deep at shallow...plus was full of chlorine. was 4 years ago though. my taxi for the airport is coming in 15 mins, hence me bein awake at 3am, ill be on when i get back!!! haha

Thanks for your reply, but I am none the wiser about the 'Worms' roundabout, I think the Apts are on a busy road, suppose will just have to suss it out when we get there!!

I don't know if i will be much help to you but we stayed at these apartments four years ago and found them to be fine. If i remember correctly there are three blocks, we were put in the block which is across the road from the main building which i wasn't too happy with to start with but our apartment was on the ground floor next to the swimming pool, we went in may so it was very quiet we were the only people at the pool alot of the time so we were really pleased with this.

The apartments themselves needed a good renovation job, they are quiet dated and our apartment was rather dusty in places but we got over this.

I can't remember exactly where they are but it was a bit of a walk to the strip. We used to walk into the strip or montechoro area each night and then get a taxi back at the end of the night. We only went to the beach one day as it was too far to walk with two small kids it proved too difficult.
There was a really beautiful bakery which baked fresh bread and buns every day just up the road.

We reall enjoyed our holiday here and had no major problems with these apartments. We are returning to portugal this year in june for the first time since then and am really looking forward to it as we really enjoyed this holiday, the only difference this year is i made sure to get an apartment much nearer the beach and the strip.

Got back yesterday, must say the apts were a lot better than we expected, they were very spacious and spotless, the kitchen and bathroom were a little bit dated but I wasn't expecting luxury!! the staff were lovely and the maids came 5 out of the 7 days. All in all couldn't fault the apts at all, just the location as they are on quite a noisy road

Algarveaddick thanks for mentioning the "Worms" roundabout it meant we found the strip straight away to get something to eat and it was only about 10 mins walk.

We loved Albufeira and finding all the places mentioned on here.

Hi Algarveaddick.

Yes I failed that mission, for some reason I thought it was on the Strip, so looked there, no luck, then thought it must be in the old town looked there, no luck. then on Thursday evening we used the train for the first time and what did I spot? a sign saying Floyd's Bar but didn't get a chance to pop in as we were on our way for a meal and as you know the train only stops in the Old Town and there was no way my Son would walk back up the hill!!!

We then we went to a bar and watched the street singers and then caught the 11.20pm train back as my Son wanted to get back to his friends in the Apt bar.

The reason we hadn't spotted it before was because we only walked by Mcdonalds once, all the other times we used either the beach or I think its called the Cliff Top Walk to get to the Old Town.

The plan was to come on Friday but it was Hubby's 50th and we had a very busy day, We went to Vilamoura for a boat trip and didn't get back till nearly 7pm and had to do some last minute shopping, so we had something to eat close by and stayed in the Apt Bar to celebrate his Birthday.

And thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it
And YES next time we will pop in.
