Our family usually do the 3 hour cruise around Cape greko and Famagusta, but as there are 3 lots of couples going away this year, I fancied looking at the option of a hiring a Boat ourselves.
I have found this great website which gives you an Idea of the prices you are looking at......... ...... rather expensive....... but some of the Boats are fantastic! Take a look for yourselves

Me too Ian! No way I'll be going on that one
......... looks like we will make do with the Pedallo again then
It stopped off a couple of hundred yards off Konnos bay so we could have a swim.
We also got a 50% off voucher for parascending in with it.
....... we have only ever been on the 2-3 hour Boat Trip to Famagusta and Cape Greko. Loved It though......... definately do It again this year.......
one of the people i work for has a fairline squadron 55 last year we took it from gibralter along the coast of spain then across the ibiza
it really is a fantastic trip but we used 5k worth of diesel
yes £1000 of diesel a day for 5 days they burn 25 gallons an hour per engine
expensive toys and after going for the last 4 years i can honestly say if i had the money i would never buy a boat
this is the boat moored in sorte grande spain
Crikey, I didnt know that they used that much fuel to be honest with you. Ive heard Mooring fees can be pretty high aswell......
where it is moored now in alcudia cost £100k for the mooriing
a boat that size will have 2 x 600hp diesel engines and weighs in excess of 13 tonnes
we went out towards ibiza for an hour and had to turn back because of the weather so we refuelled so we had a full tank and it cost another 200-00 to fill back up
Thanks for that link, looks interesting.
