I have never been to Tenerife actually, but I suggest that you could email the hotel. I stayed in Magaluf this year and emailed the hotel a few times before I went. If you explain to them which particular part of the hotel you wish to stay in they may help you get a room you like. I was given a great room. My husband stayed in my hotel last year, and I knew it was a nice hotel. If you have stayed there before tell them that you think its a fantastic hotel and you would love to be in one those rooms. If you praise them it can work in your favour. It did work for me.
