definately turkey maria May is probably one of the best times as its hot but not too hot which it is in July /August later in may would be better as they do still get some rain Early in May.

I am biased towards olu deniz. quite a few good A/Is there . Club Belcekiz beach (portland /thomson - portland for best price) , club sun city, Olu deniz resort and Lykia world (although lykia is not in town). Have alook at the hotel review section. But there are many A/Is in turkey and im sure others will give you a good selection to choose from

my mother has just arrived back from turkey yesterday and she says its really hot out there now and around 30 ish, she lives there too.

i love turkey and my favourite places are olu deniz, icmeler and akyaka,i think it just depends on what sort of things you like doing to which resort would suit your family best, olu deniz is lovely for the lagoon so nice warm calm seas in the lagoon great for the kids, boat trips etc. but if you want a livelier resort then icmeler might be better, if youre not bothered about beaches and want very lively then marmaris

if you can afford lykia world its fantastic for kids with a water park lots to do ,great entertainment etc, food fab but it is dear, have a look at their website

I think were ever you go in Turkey the kids will be fine, we have been taking our Grand children since they were small, they have great fun in the day around the pool, days out on the boat and there is a couple of big aqua parks in Marmaris, transport laid on, pick you up from your hotel and drop you back later, so no problem.
Lots of shows in the evening, kids always welcome as the Turks love them
and will go out of their way for you and them
Marmaris is mad, Icmeler, just down the road, loads to do but not as hectic.
Think Hisaronu and Olu Deniz a bit to laid back to keep the children happy for long.
Have a look at the Marmaris palace, just between the two.
My grand children growing up now still love to get back to Icmeler and have some great memories of the people, enjoy.

we stayed at marmaris palace at easter and the food was horrendous, my little daughter lived on chips all week as she wouldnt eat the turkish food, it was all turkish even the desserts so not suitable for kids

my kids love olu deniz as they love the beach and never got bored,so it just depends on what your children like to do, to wheres the best place to go on holiday

As beach is high on your agenda, would say Olu deniz - and a good few AI's there aswell

have a look at the a/i in belek ,they are right on the beach, with most of them having great flumes at the pools ,great for kids ,we go to the sun zeynep and find it to be a great hotel.
