Provided you can live without the waterslides. The Belcekic Beach hotel in Olu Deniz is brilliant. The great thing is that its actually in Olu Deniz so you can use the AI during the day and then go out and eat in a different restaurant every night for 14 nights if you want. (probably 28 nights if you are prepared to hop up the mountain to hisoranu as well).

Lykia looks fantastic but it is a bit out on a limb from the resort.

Portland/Thomson do the belcekic beach but its really popular and is often fully booked, so if you want to go this summer it might be worth pricing it up soon. Even last year when Turkey had a lot of problems with its tourist industry this hotel was full most of the season.

There is a big thread on it somewhere, i'll try and find it later for you.

can only think that the marmaris palace has went down hill in the past two years . it was the first hotel we ever stayed in turkey, and liked it so much we returned another five times as we thought it was brilliant , just goes to show , we go to belek now to the sun zeynep ,we also think that is brilliant as we have stayed there four times now and are booked up for another twice this year, but i suppose there will be people who dont like that one either ,all depends what certain people are looking for .

We are going to club asteria in belek in june. Like you we wanted waterslides for kids, but without paying a ridiculous price. We got 2 adults and 2 kids for £1800, thought it was excellent price, plus has climbing wall and trampolines. Cant wait. It is quite remote but having gone AI for the last 4 years have found that it is practically impossible to prise kids away from newly made friends anyway.
