Am DIYing this year and booked September 05 for August06 to get best deal from flights, but had to wait almost 18 months between holidays which is paying a massive toll on my life!
We are now thinking of possibly a May07 week, coupled with a July/August 07 fortnight......but cannot seem to find any bargains.
To be able to complete this, we need to get the best deal possible for May as we have 2 kids aged 6 n 7

have you had a look at skytours they do 1 child free and the second from a pound. i know it sounds like you like doing diy holidays but this is another way of going i paid 1600 for 2 weeks at july with 2 kids in a 2 bedroomed apartment to corfu.
its somethimes best to book early as the one i booked 2 weeks ago has already rose by 600 quid
have fun looking.

Have a look at Portland Direct as they have really good deals for May holidays and offer free child places.
My husband and I have just returned from two weeks in Minorca which only cost us £550 for both of us in a one bedroom apartment.I booked it May 2005 so it's worth looking at their offers now for next year.
