thinking of booking our summer hols at hotel paschalia. can someone answer a few q's for me please?
1, are there many bars around the hotel area and how far away?
2, how far is it in to protoras centre?
3, how far to aiya napa and cost for taxi/bus?
4, how lively is protoras?

Protaras centre about 15/20 mins away, although there is a bus stop just outside the hotel which passes through Protaras en route to Ayia Napa.
From the hotel to Ayia Napa centre should be about £10CYP - £12CYP depending on the time of day you travel....ie:more after midnight.
If you look at the other posts as far as how busy Protaras is it should tell you what you need to know.
I've PM'd you with a review on the hotel from another site which should help as it was very revent (2006)

Ive been to protaras 7 times and it is becoming more popular,there is lots or bars and restaurants,my sister has stayed in the hotel your talking about and said it was fine.Penera is a quiet resort not as busy as protaras,but still has enough bars and restaraunts.Any more info required drop a note in forum.

thankyou for the responses i have booked now on a price breaker deal which means i will be at 1 of 3 hotels.

any info on the above same questions as before would be great.

the virrisana is on the beach in the center of protaras the mermaid i think is in agia napa you can chech the reviews from the top of the page for maps on there positions go to http://www.kapparis.info
