There is an understandable customs ban about taking oils and acrylics onto an aeroplane. Does anyone know of an artists shop where I can purchase canvases, easels and paints in Southern Tenerife? Any tips on storing paints, turps. etc in the hottest season?

Hi, I think there is an arts and crafts shop in the Apollo centre in Los Cristianos, can't remember what it's called though.

tHERE IS AN ARTS AND CRAFT shop in the Apollo centre, Los Cristianos, called NUTS FOR CRAFTS I think.
But also try OFIPAPEL, the stationers, they have a vast range of good and are situated opposite the Valdes centre in Los Cristianos, quite near the petrol station and the Mercedes Garage.
