I have had to visit Caria hospital a few times over the years for me and more recently my daughter - it works out between £25-£30 for the consultation - When i needed an anti histimen (typo!!) injection this was an additional £5 - And my daughter needed cream for eczema - he just wrote the name down and we went to the chemist accross the road
i always stock up on my drugs ie antibiotics etc as i have no dentist in the uk but always be careful what you buy its ok for me as the other half is a nurse
We are fortunate to have a friend over there whose best mate is the local GP so we normally get to see him.
My Son developed an ear infection on friday and after visiting the chemist we were given 2 lots of drops and anti biotic tablets, only cost 29 Lira. He was fine to fly home Monday morning and guess it would have cost more had we visited the doctor.

its alway best to vistthe chemist first as they will give medicine over the counter that you cant get in the uk or is alot cheaper than what a pricsription in the uk they are normally pretty good
Totally agree, visit the chemist first but not the back street ones as they don't speak very good English. They even sell antibiotics over the counter (though this will be happening here soon) and they are about £4.
My son had a very bad allergic reaction to some cream. We arrived last Monday night and he got up on Tuesday morning with his face twice the size and could not open his eyes. The rep (thanks michelle first choice) arranged the doctor. They came to the hotel, took my son and husband away, he had a full examination, anti histamine injection and cream for face then brought back to hotel. They thought he would be treated at the hotel but because he was so bad they took them to the centre. It was done in such a hurry my husband was worried he would not have enough money but the staff said they would sort that out later. Total cost £40.00, best £40.00 i have spent.
